Luke 15:28-30

"But he became angry and was not willing to go in; and his father came out and began pleading with him. "But he answered and said to his father, 'Look! For so many years I have been serving you and I have never neglected a command of yours; and yet you have never given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends; but when this son of yours came, who has devoured your wealth with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him".

(On the older brother’s response to the Father’s grace to the
prodigal son) – “Now that is a commentary on the tragedy of the modern Church. There are millions of churchgoers who know all ABOUT God and are working hard to IMPRESS God but have never let the Father impress them. They are missing party after party and divine encounter after divine encounter and supernatural manifestation after supernatural manifestation because they are
working so hard to impress God”.
